Keith and Penny along with team member, Sandra Murphy, are excited to bring thermography, which can also be used as an aid for prognosis and therapeutic monitoring for many conditions, to the southeast Missouri region.
Penny has dedicated twenty years of her career to healthcare working for a private reference laboratory. During those year, she performed patient phlebotomy, directed the purchasing department, and managed the portable radiology division. In addition, Penny owned and operated a medical waste disposal company. Her experience in the traditional healthcare setting led to an interest in alternative medicine and methods. This interest became a passion and today she is certified through the American College of Clinical Thermology (ACCT) as a clinical thermographer providing a safe, painless, and radiation free method of breast and body screenings.
Keith holds a master’s degree in clinical laboratory science from Rutgers University and is certified as a medical laboratory scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). His forty-year background in healthcare and education provides a unique combination of body systems and functions knowledge with education and management expertise. Keith believes in self-advocacy regarding personal health choices and is excited to provide alternative health opportunities to southeast Missouri.
Sandra Murphy and her husband, Jerry, owned and operated a clinical laboratory with divisions in radiology, ultrasound, and biohazard medical waste disposal. After years of service to the long-term care medical community, Sandra decided to pursue her interest in natural remedies and nutrition. Sandra is certified in clinical thermography through the ACCT and is an important part of the BRAS Thermography of Southeast Missouri team.
*Note: Thermography is not a replacement for Mammography. We recommend a balanced health approach that includes both prevention and traditional medical approaches.
